Hi!

I’m a 30 year-old, Austin-based Industrial Designer with a love of tea, birds and making music. My resume can be found at the bottom of this page.

I’ve worked on a broad array of products, both in-production and still in development, across over a dozen categories.

Outside of ID, here are some of my most useful skills:

  • I have overseen several business development efforts in my current role, such as an email marketing campaign that resulted in over 400% ROI. This included creating our lead nurturing strategy and presenting our pitch to prospects.

  • I’m knowledgeable in Figma and the foundational principles of UX design, having designed features for a shipping product.

  • Maybe an unusual thing to call out, but it’s useful!

Sometimes the complexity of a project can make it difficult to even get started. I enjoy the process of organizing knowns, unknowns and objectives into practical and insightful formats, which can be used to create recommendations. This has helped my current team out of several ruts in the past.

  • This includes both filming/editing footage and Keyshot animation. See the top of this webpage for an example.

  • From encouraging user behaviors to communicating with clients, the way stories are conveyed can dramatically change outcomes. See the video presentation below for a bit on how I think about storytelling in design.
